We ended up staying at Sunny Valley Campground clearly by chance. We had actually had reservations for a campground in Grants Pass and was notified the day before that they could not accommodate us due to a water main break! I called Sunny Valley and they were happy to get us in on short notice.
Sunny Valley Campground sits right off I-5, but was quiet and peaceful.
This place is absolutely adorable! They offer full hook ups with pull thru and back in accommodations. The campsites are not super private, but there are plenty of trees for shade and atmosphere. In addition to 41 RV Sites, there are also Cabins and Covered Wagons for rent!
The owners are amazing and so helpful! They have a stocked camp store, a swimming pool (though very small) Laundry facilities and free showers.
The grounds are meticulously maintained and park like. There is a small playground and they also have a fenced off leash dog area. I would definitely come back!
They are very near the Rogue River which offers all types of River Adventure!
I’m taking 1 star off for lack of privacy, but if that is not a concern for you, this would be a 5 star experience.
